Wesley K. Andrews is known in the live theater as an innovator in the storytelling form. He is the producer of Verbalists and the instructor of the Verbalists Intensive, a three-week storytelling workshop grounded in personal memory. He co-created a two-person storytelling comedy titled Everything Everything Everything with multidisciplinary poet ilvs strauss that toured five cities in Washington and Oregon in 2013. His collaboration with shadow artist Nick Hubbard titled Dr. Andy Hubble's Crucible of Authenticity performed in venues throughout the Seattle area including the Frye Museum and On the Boards. His feature-length show The Riverboat Runs Aground is available for download through Bandcamp and has been produced in Washington, Alaska, and New Jersey. Andrews' storytelling has previously been underwritten by 4Culture and Amazon.com.

Other live theater credits include 14/48: The World's Quickest Theater Festival, Action Adventure Theatre, iDiOM Theater, Macha Monkey, Minion Productions, Empty Sea Studios, Live Girls! Theater, Annex Theater, Doubleshot Festival, and First Night Tacoma.

Andrews co-wrote the original screenplay for How To Get Laid, a short comedy that has screened in cinemas across the Northwest, with director Nik Perleros with whom he currently collaborates in commercial video production. 

He is also featured in Perleros' music video for “Cosmic Osmo” by The Tea Cozies. 

Andrews holds a Professional Programs Certificate in screenwriting from UCLA's School of Television, Film, and Theatre. Andrews is an alumnus of the University of Puget Sound's Theatre Department where he is remembered as the co-founder of the Town Crier Speaks Theatre Festival and President of Mu Nu Omikron Tau. He received the Kilworth Research Grant for the study of American Vaudeville and graduated cum laude.

Andrews has taught workshops and master classes at secondary schools throughout the Puget Sound Region and has guest-lectured at Seattle University, the University of Puget Sound, and Middlesex County College. He teaches private workshops in collaboration with Shift, a wellness center on Lake Union, as well as private coaching and consultations.
